Description

Lead an offshore engineering team while maintaining heavy hands-on coding responsibilities. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the offshore development team and act as the single point of contact for customers.
• Develop microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Design and consume Web Services and RESTful APIs.
• Manage Git workflows, including branching and release management.
• Coordinate development cycles using Agile methodology.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive hands-on coding expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building and deploying Microservices.
• Proficiency with Kafka and DevOps practices.
• Strong experience consuming Web Services and REST services.
• Experience with Git branch and release management.
• Working knowledge of ReactJS for frontend programming.
• Experience operating in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in an onsite Tech Lead role.
