Lead software development efforts focusing on Java/J2EE and microservices architectures in New Jersey, USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable APIs using Java 8 and Spring Boot 2.x.
• Design and implement microservices following SOLID principles, 12-factor app methodology, and design patterns.
• Manage containerized application development and deployment within PCF or Kubernetes clusters.
• Oversee code quality through automated testing and static analysis frameworks.
• Drive delivery within Agile Scrum or SAFe Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development using Java/J2EE.
• 8+ years of API development experience with Java 8, Spring Boot 2.x, and Microservices.
• Deep expertise in Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring JPA.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, Azure, or PCF.
• Strong understanding of containerization and deploying to Kubernetes or PCF.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of code quality tools including PMD, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and Mutation Testing.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile Scrum or SAFe Agile.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
