Lead and mentor a team of Java developers while owning technical design, code quality, and deployment for high-volume, low-latency applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of five Java developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
• Design detailed technical architectures for high-volume, low-latency systems ensuring high availability.
• Write testable, efficient code and oversee implementation to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and deploy web applications and serverless architectures using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild, and monitor performance via CloudWatch and X-Ray.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of technical experience with strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot development.
• Very strong proficiency in Angular for frontend development.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS ECS, EKS, Fargate, and API Gateway.
• Ability to develop RESTful APIs and serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of Postgres, SQL, and DynamoDB for data management.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Experience implementing security best practices using AWS IAM and KMS.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python for scripting or backend tasks.
• Experience with CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
