Description

Lead the development and operation of Node.js-based components and services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and operate Node.js services using the Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern.
• Design and develop new micro-features for current product offerings.
• Guide the team in resolving service-related issues and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews and the acceptance process to improve delivery methodology.
• Perform unit testing and troubleshoot code-related issues.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• 5+ years of API development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and caching technologies like Redis.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Git and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with web stack protocols and web server optimization.
• Proficiency in logging and monitoring systems such as Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular.
