Description

Lead technical delivery and architectural design for Java-based application solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to gather requirements, define application scope, and review designs.
• Lead the development of Program Increment feature lists and supervise technical specification preparation.
• Own the technical development environment and participate in enterprise-level planning.
• Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Manage project schedules, perform risk management, and report progress or blockers to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of programming experience with Java development and business stakeholder interfacing.
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead role focusing on Java APIs.
• Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying microservices in container-based environments.
• Proficiency with Java Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and WEB.
• Experience with REST web services, Swagger profiles, and JSON payloads.
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Experience with integration scenarios including Message Queues, Kafka, and file transfer integration.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile (Scrum) development teams.
• Familiarity with the Azure framework and JavaScript frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the retail industry.
