Description

Lead and mentor two engineering teams through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development. Own project management tasks including sprint planning, task allocation, and timeline estimation. Provide architectural oversight for frontend and backend components while remaining hands-on with development. Act as the primary technical liaison between engineering teams and internal stakeholders to align with business objectives. Monitor project progress and ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor seven engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development.
• Own project management tasks including sprint planning, task allocation, and timeline estimation.
• Provide architectural oversight for both frontend and backend components while remaining hands-on with development.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between engineering teams and internal stakeholders to align with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework, including Spring Boot.
• Experience with frontend technologies including React, Redux, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud platforms.
• Proven experience leading small teams or managing technical projects.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and communicate project status effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures such as Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Familiarity with Terraform (IaC) and test-driven development.
