Description

Lead technical development using Java and AWS cloud technologies. Own the full lifecycle of microservices, from design to deployment, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Tomcat or WebSphere.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
• Design and implement RESTful API interfaces and SOAP services.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployments.
• Integrate complex APIs and work with XML data structures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 3+ years of experience developing in Java and Spring Boot on the AWS platform.
• Proficiency with AWS services including S3, Lambda, and OpenSearch.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working with XML and API integrations.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Life Insurance industry.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Knowledge of cloud-related databases.
