Description

Develop scalable applications using the Java/J2EE tech stack in Plano, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable code components and drive coding standards across the lifecycle.
• Build and consume APIs within the Spring framework.
• Perform code reviews and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with large teams to maintain and improve software systems.
• Communicate technical concepts to engineering colleagues and business managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency in the Spring framework.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle database knowledge.
• Experience with XML, Splunk, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Ability to implement automation and unit testing.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases including Cassandra and DynamoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java cloud development and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms.
