Description

You will lead the technical direction and architecture for development efforts, designing scalable Java applications and guiding the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Java J2EE applications and high-performance microservices using Spring Boot.
• Manage integrations with third-party and enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
• Monitor and optimize application platform performance to ensure high availability.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement CI/CD practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java and J2EE development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with eventing platforms, specifically Kafka.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database design.
• Experience with TypeScript for application development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise middleware systems.
