Description

You will lead the development and maintenance of enterprise-class applications on the J2EE platform in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using J2EE application servers.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and caching strategies.
• Build responsive user interfaces with front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design application usability through user journey mapping, wireframing, and rapid prototyping.
• Execute proof-of-concept development and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in J2EE application development and server implementation.
• 6+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, and JSP.
• 5+ years of expertise in Angular, AJAX, Bootstrap (3 or 4), and NPM.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere and WebLogic Application Server deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Proven experience with front-end development and UI enhancement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOAP or RESTful Web Services and Responsive/Progressive Web Applications.
• Knowledge of Git, SVN, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 / Sec 508 accessibility standards.
