Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based software applications while mentoring the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security across distributed systems.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, enforcing SOLID principles and clean code standards.
• Mentor junior developers and lead peer review processes to elevate team capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Define and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment strategies on Azure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java 8, including Lambdas, Streams, and Reactive concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices patterns (Saga, Circuit Breaker) and API design.
• Hands-on experience with Event Streaming using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, specifically AKS and Helm.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make architectural decisions under constraints.
