Description

Lead the design and development of real-time payment microservices and high-throughput transaction APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design software solutions for real-time payment processing and protocol translation using reactive design patterns.
• Build high-volume transaction APIs for consumption by omni-channel platforms.
• Own the delivery of end-to-end Payment API solutions and client libraries/SDKs.
• Analyze complex processes and heterogeneous technological applications to drive architectural decisions.
• Develop strategies for documenting and presenting API specifications in consumable formats.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, and Confluence.
• 5+ years of experience specifically with Spring Boot.
• Deep expertise in Spring framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO).
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with Webflux and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
• Experience implementing full-stack solutions, APIs, and microservices in large enterprise organizations.
• Background in the payment or financial industries.
• Experience creating unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with PCF, API Management, Apigee, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kafka for streaming and persistence.
