Description

Lead backend development for mission-critical e-commerce applications and services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable solutions using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver features.
• Mentor and guide backend engineers on technical growth.
• Perform code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain system availability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Expertise in J2EE.
• Proven experience in e-commerce platforms (catalog, cart, checkout, payments, profile).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
