Description

Lead the design, development, and architectural direction of scalable Java-based microservices applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, scalable solutions using Java and Spring Boot, adhering to performance optimization standards.
• Manage end-to-end project execution from requirement gathering through to deployment.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure using CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Oversee code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years in a Technical Lead role.
• Proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Hibernate, JPA, and ORM frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platform.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of security mechanisms including OAuth and JWT.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and QA teams.
