Description

Provide technical direction and leadership to Java development teams as a part-time consultant.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery through code reviews, architecture reviews, and design discussions.
• Oversee testing, quality assurance, and maintenance across production, staging, and testing environments.
• Implement and support development processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Ensure all programs and code meet security standards and comply with corporate policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies while capturing and reporting performance metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java 8 and core Java frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Strong understanding of Microservices, Webservices, and API development.
• Proficiency with Hibernate and Tomcat.
• Experience using Git and Maven for version control and build management.
• Ability to work independently within an agile team environment.
