Description

You will lead technical design and development for backend services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend features using Java and established design patterns.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Support monthly release activities, including weekend deployments.
• Own the implementation and maintenance of service-oriented applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and design patterns.
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in REST API implementation and Spring MVC.
• Technical understanding of Microservices and service-oriented applications.
• Familiarity with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Jenkins and Maven.
• Knowledge of security standards including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP/PCF) and containerization (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling like Bamboo, CARA, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of PING Access/Federate (Resource Server).
• Familiarity with RDMS and application integration patterns.
