You will lead the development of scalable applications and manage system migrations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable and maintainable applications using Java.
• Develop and maintain applications following Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Write and optimize complex queries against SQL databases.
• Manage system operations within a Unix/Linux environment.
• Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java.
• 5+ years experience working with SQL databases, including performance optimization.
• 5+ years experience operating in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Proficiency in Java development.
• Experience with SQL Databases.
• Familiarity with Linux and Unix.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sybase ASE or Sybase IQ databases.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation.
