Description

Lead development of Java-based microservices and manage complex data streaming integrations in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java 8.
• Implement data streaming solutions using AWS Kinesis, including shards, message logging, and error handling.
• Manage database operations using SQL and Oracle.
• Integrate external systems and handle JMS messaging via ActiveMQ.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud-based deployments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Core Java and Java 8 concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring JPA.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle database management.
• Experience with AWS Kinesis, including shards and error handling.
• Practical knowledge of JMS messaging and ActiveMQ.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry or other cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of access control, security, and external system integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS-based security and integration patterns.
