Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications while providing hands-on technical leadership to the development team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture guidance, including code reviews and triage for complex problem-solving.
• Mentor team members to ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality software.
• Own the assignment and delegation of critical tasks throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and conduct regular security assessments.
• Oversee the full application lifecycle, including updates, releases, and enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience (JDK 1.7/1.8) with Spring (Core, IoC, MVC, DAO, ORM) and Struts frameworks.
• Extensive experience with AWS native services including EC2, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Docker and container management using Kubernetes or EKS.
• Strong experience with Hibernate, JPA, and JSP.
• Proven expertise in event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Hands-on DevOps experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Nexus.
• Advanced Git or Bitbucket skills for repository and version management.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and IntelliJ IDE.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for local setup, debugging, and application performance monitoring using Datadog.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Experience in the insurance domain or with payment gateway integrations.
