Description

Lead technical delivery and guide an offshore team in building high-quality distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java-based microservices and RESTful web services.
• Guide the team in writing effective unit tests using JUnit, WireMock, and Mockito.
• Direct the implementation of BDD testing frameworks and ensure code quality.
• Own the technical strategy for messaging platform migrations to the cloud.
• Optimize Java code and manage complex database integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java programming and advanced Java development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data Flow, or Spring JMS.
• Strong Kafka skills, including knowledge of sequencing and handling distributed data.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as DB2, Postgres, or SQL Server.
• Experience with messaging middleware including RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or Kafka.
• Proven ability to deploy and maintain applications on AWS, GCP, or PCF.
• Knowledge of Twelve-Factor App methodology and cloud production readiness.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with Gradle, GitHub, Harness, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
