Description

You will lead a team of three engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage a technical team of three members and provide regular status reporting to management.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Lead technical delivery through code reviews, architecture reviews, and design discussions.
• Create technical specifications, diagrams, and required documentation.
• Troubleshoot and design solutions for complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience with strong Java/J2EE coding skills.
• 6+ years of experience with Spring/Spring Boot, including expertise in at least two modules like Spring-JDBC or Spring-MVC.
• Extensive experience with REST API integrations and designing schemas using Swagger.
• Proficiency with J2EE specifications including JMS, WS, Servlets, JSP, and EJB.
• Strong SQL skills with experience managing Oracle RDBMS, schemas, and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, and Docker containers.
• Proficiency in testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
• Working knowledge of Linux basic commands, SSH, and FTP.
• Experience working within SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
