Description

You will build and maintain enterprise-level web applications using Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using Java 17+, JSP, and Servlets.
• Create dynamic user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Implement asynchronous data exchange using AJAX and JSON.
• Optimize SQL query performance for Oracle 21c XE or MySQL databases.
• Deploy and oversee applications on Apache Tomcat.

Required Skills

• Java 17+ with strong JSP and Servlets experience.
• Frontend stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• AJAX implementation (jQuery AJAX, DWR, or AjaxTags) and JSON.
• SQL proficiency with Oracle 21c XE or MySQL.
• Build automation with Maven or Gradle.
• Version control using Git.
• IDE familiarity: Eclipse or PL/SQL Developer.
• Knowledge of JDBC optimization and connection pooling.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java web development.
• Experience with enterprise-level application deployment.
