Description

Design and develop J2EE-based web systems for complex business requirements, owning the full lifecycle from specification to production support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and prepare detailed program specifications following technical standards.
• Code, test, debug, and document moderately to complex programs.
• Develop test plans to verify logic and conduct quality assurance via peer reviews.
• Analyze existing systems to gather requirements and assist in time estimation.
• Provide on-call production support and resolve technical issues for clients and management.

Required Skills

• 5-8+ years of development experience with J2EE web technologies.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture and Jenkins.
• 3+ years of experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap.
• Strong expertise in WebSphere Portal and JSR 168 Portlets.
• Hands-on experience with JSF, Hibernate, and integration with external applications.
• Experience with heavy transaction processing and transaction management.
• Proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system design.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
