Description

You will develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java 17 and Drools.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable, testable, and efficient code focused on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with API consumers to ensure seamless integration.
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage external service interactions.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth, JWT, SSL, and API Gateways.
• Handle PDF generation with charts using Aspose.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Drools.
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot 3.2, and Spring MVC frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Practical knowledge of Spring AOP, Annotations, and Security.
• Experience with Apache Maven for build management.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Git source control.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• SUN/Oracle Java Developer certification.
• Experience with UI technologies such as React or Vue.
