Description

You will develop and maintain scalable IoT/M2M applications using Java and AWS cloud services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable IoT/M2M applications using Java.
• Write automated unit tests to increase code coverage and fix defects.
• Collaborate with engineers in Agile Scrum to design and implement solutions.
• Manage source code, builds, and deployments using standard software tools.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of hands-on development experience with scalable IoT/M2M applications.
• Strong Java development experience including Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in RDBMS (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and database systems.
• Experience programming applications backed by AWS cloud services (Greengrass, IoT Things Graph, Kinesis, SQS, EC2, Autoscaling, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ElastiCache, VPC, IAM).
• Understanding of network protocols such as TCP, HTTP, and MQTT.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing IoT solutions covering Over the Air (OTA) software updates or Device Management.
