Description

You will develop and support software applications within the full SDLC lifecycle using Java and Mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Core Java and the Spring framework.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and SOAP-based technologies.
• Manage data processing using Spring Batch and XML schema technologies.
• Apply J2EE design patterns to build scalable business logic.
• Acquire domain knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert for multiple applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT software development experience.
• Strong Core Java and Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Batch) expertise.
• Experience with WebServices such as JAX-RPC or JAX-WS.
• Knowledge of XML processing including Parsers, JAXB, and XSLT.
• Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE design patterns (Adapter, Singleton, DAO, DTO, etc.).
• Experience with at least two of the following: WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBoss.
• Database experience with Mainframe, DB2, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, JSP, and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or Science Engineering.
