Description

You will develop and maintain Java-based microservices running on OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Red Hat OpenShift, handling container builds and pod deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions, or OpenShift Pipelines.
• Configure OpenShift resources including DeploymentConfigs, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
• Monitor workloads, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing with Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments).
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker.
• Experience implementing CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or Git.
• Familiarity with configuration management using ConfigMaps and Secrets.
• Ability to enforce security practices using OAuth, JWT, and OpenShift RBAC.
• Experience integrating services with databases and message brokers.
