Description

You will design, build, and deploy distributed software components and web applications in AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test distributed software components and new features.
• Collaborate with the Lead Architect and Product Owner to improve existing products.
• Drive system development and deploy modular cloud-based systems in AWS.
• Produce high-quality code with strong test coverage using modern abstractions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience in Java, JavaScript, or other Object-Oriented languages.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Experience building RESTful/API services and micro-services.
• Experience with messaging or event streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience designing and deploying modular systems in AWS.
• Database engineering experience with RDS, Redshift, or DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Design (TDD) and unit testing using NUnit, JUnit, or PyUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD environments using Jenkins or Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solution Architect or AWS Developer Certification.
• Experience with legacy technologies including Mainframe DB2 and IMS.
