Description

Build and maintain full-stack applications in the financial services sector using Java, React, and Spring Boot.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement system enhancements and programming solutions for financial applications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing, and debug issues.
• Consult with users and technology groups to define requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and coach junior analysts.
• Assess business risks and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in Applications Development, specifically within the Financial Services industry.
• Proficiency in Java, React, and Spring Boot for full-stack development.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and modern application development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with testing and debugging applications.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security vulnerability assessment and code analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with changing requirements.
