Description

You will develop and maintain production-ready software using Java and Scala across the full development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java frameworks and functional programming languages.
• Implement big data technologies and streaming solutions for data processing.
• Prepare test plans and perform exhaustive unit, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to gather requirements and drive implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience with Scala or similar functional languages.
• 3+ years of experience with ATDD/SBE, TDD, pair programming, and Agile principles.
• 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies including Spark, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, and Sqoop.
• 3+ years of experience with streaming solutions like Kafka, AMPS, Kafka Streams, Spark, or Flink.
• 3+ years of experience with Big Data consumption tools such as Impala, Hive, or Drill.
• Experience with Java frameworks including Spring, Apache, and Hibernate or similar ORM tools.
• Experience with REST, Jersey, and JSON.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting and data management.

Preferred Skills

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical degree.
