Description

You will develop and maintain mission-critical software using functional programming and distributed computing patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance software using Java, Scala, or Python in an Agile environment.
• Implement test-driven methodologies including automated unit and regression testing.
• Manage deployment pipelines through CI/CD workflows.
• Perform data analysis and requirements gathering to solve complex technical problems.
• Integrate REST-based web services and graph technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Scala or Java.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with Spark and distributed computing.
• Strong understanding of REST-based web services.
• Experience with Selenium and Cucumber for automated testing.
• Ability to work with RDF and Sparql.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Apache Hive and HDFS.
• Familiarity with ZooKeeper or Storm.
• Experience with Semantic Web technologies.
