Description

You will build and maintain web applications for transportation operations modernization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and support web applications from prototyping through production.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including design, testing, maintenance, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and vendors to define technical requirements.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and rotating on-call production support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of full-stack application development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, including data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.
• Strong frontend expertise in Angular (version 12 or newer) and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries such as NGRX or Redux.
• Deep understanding of web services architecture (REST/SOAP) and security implementations.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Data modeling and database programming skills with DB2 LUW, CockroachDB, or MS SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Nexus, JUnit, SonarQube, and GIT.
• Working knowledge of RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UML and design patterns.
• Understanding of networks, firewalls, and load balancers.
