Description

You will design, develop, and debug software systems through the full development lifecycle. You own the technical specifications, coding, and testing phases while mentoring engineers on complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and design to implementation and maintenance.
• Consult with end users to prototype, refine, and debug programs against technical requirements.
• Perform unit, functional, load, performance, and regression testing on new and modified code.
• Mentor software engineers on technical assignments and guide teams in producing project estimates.
• Identify and implement new technologies to improve system functionality and architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with solid understanding of OOA/OOD.
• Hands-on experience with SQL or PL/SQL.
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks including Cucumber and Selenium.
• Solid understanding of distributed, component-based architecture.
• Experience with event-driven, asynchronous programming, and multi-threading.
• Ability to use Unix/Linux command line and create/edit scripts.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, or BIRT.
• Knowledge of UML for technical design.
