Description

You will design and develop distributed microservices and APIs using Java and Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot or Vertx.
• Develop and maintain APIs with proficiency in Java and Python.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Salt, and Git for automated release management.
• Work with Kafka for messaging and manage data in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Apply Agile methodologies and optimize systems for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Experience with distributed/multi-tier systems and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spring Boot, or Vertx.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, Salt, and Git.
• Understanding of Unix/Linux, HTTP, and Apache.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across functions.
