Description

You will design and implement Java applications to automate data reconciliation across financial data sources.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications to automate data reconciliation across relational databases, NoSQL databases, batch files, and real-time streams.
• Implement data transformation and matching algorithms using deterministic and heuristic methods.
• Integrate Java applications with rules engines like Drools to execute complex matching logic.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to identify data gaps and resolve inconsistencies between systems.
• Build error handling and exception management mechanisms to maintain data integrity.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, specifically with data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Data, Hibernate, and JDBC.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of data reconciliation principles and matching techniques.
• Experience integrating Java code with rules engines such as Drools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data matching solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience with data technologies including Hadoop or Spark.
