Description

Design and implement scalable Java and AWS solutions. Own the release pipeline from requirements to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Gather system requirements and prepare implementable designs and release plans.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy critical application components.
• Contribute to RFP proposals with technical designs and effort estimates.
• Participate in PI Planning to define features and review deliverables against client standards.
• Coordinate with offshore and testing teams to improve automation across environments.

Required Skills

• 17+ years of professional experience in software architecture and development.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services: Lambda, EKS, SQS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway.
• Strong proficiency in Java: Spring Boot, EJB, JPA, JDBC, JEE Design Patterns.
• Experience with microservices (JAX-RS) and SOAP web services (JAX-WS, JAX-RPC).
• Infrastructure and DevOps tools: Terraform, OpenShift, Docker, Helm, GitLab-CI.
• Database experience with IBM-DB2, Oracle, and Websphere.
• Knowledge of messaging and monitoring: Kafka, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog.
• Familiarity with React, Redux, NodeJS, ES6, CSS3, HTML5.
• Testing experience with Jest, Mocha, Chai, and Pi-Test.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Gradle, Postman, and Tomcat.
