Description

You will design and implement technical solutions for Property & Casualty insurance systems using Java and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for system components and prepare implementable designs and release plans.
• Lead refinement of features and provide technical estimates for RFP proposals.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure adherence to client standards and processes.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy critical application components.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to integrate code components and resolve impediments.

Required Skills

• 10 to 12 years of experience providing technical solutions in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Expertise in Java and core AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, EKS, SQS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, Kafka, Helm, and GitLab-CI.
• Strong backend API knowledge using Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with React, Redux, NodeJS, and ES6.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and JEE design patterns.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Experience with databases including IBM-DB2 and Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire experience.
