Description

You will own the end-to-end architectural design and technical oversight for a major modernization initiative.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of the Target State Architecture and Blueprint, defining system interaction models and integration flows.
• Ensure accurate translation of architecture into implementation throughout the SDLC and production rollout.
• Lead architecture reviews and risk assessments for the modernization program.
• Act as the primary architectural liaison between platform engineering, web services, security, and data teams.
• Oversee migration strategies, particularly around Apache Kafka during the Messaging Layer migration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in software engineering or architecture roles.
• 5+ years specifically in enterprise architecture roles.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Expertise in Java development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
