Description

You will design and implement HL7 FHIR-based API solutions for healthcare interoperability projects, ensuring compliance with CMS requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and API solutions.
• Map source data sets to FHIR resources and create conceptual and detailed architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data exchange specifications.
• Test and troubleshoot FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience using OAuth and securing APIs.
• Understanding of FHIR implementation guides such as DaVinci, CARIN, and US Core.
• Experience with cloud services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating web applications with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources.
