Description

Develop and integrate Java and Groovy components within a fixed income technology stack.

Build Java/Groovy components for in-house systems and vendor software integration. Integrate vendor platforms including ECNs, ION, Bloomberg, Broadridge, Polypaths, and Murex. Apply knowledge of fixed income trade flows, valuations, and risk management to software development. Support Market and Credit Risk business functions using Polypaths or similar securitized products systems. Work within both Agile and Waterfall project models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java/Groovy components for internal systems.
• Integrate third-party vendor platforms like ION, Bloomberg, and Murex.
• Support Market and Credit Risk functions using Polypaths.
• Manage software delivery in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Develop SQL queries and data integration logic.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Java platform.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Apache Camel and Kafka.
• Experience with Git and Gradle.
• Familiarity with AWS EC2 and S3.
• Knowledge of fixed income markets and trade flows.
