You will build new features and maintain high software quality within an agile squad in Cincinnati, OH.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support complex technical solutions.
• Implement new features while ensuring overall software quality.
• Research and resolve customer issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and developer communities of practice.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering or relevant IT work experience.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with object-oriented and functional software design.
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST, SOAP, or message-driven APIs.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, or Kafka.
• Front-end development experience using TypeScript and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
