You will design, develop, and implement web applications using Java/J2EE technologies to solve complex business problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable web applications and high-quality integrations between third-party applications and internal systems.
• Analyze requirements and use cases to determine technical approaches, development strategies, and architectural decisions.
• Provide technical oversight on multiple IT projects, assessing impacts on downstream applications and presenting design pros and cons to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot website issues to identify root causes and implement short-term and long-term solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JPA, and Groovy.
• 3+ years of experience with Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Data.
• 3+ years of experience with REST and SOAP web services (client and server code).
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD, GIT, and Jenkins.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS and NextJS.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of total IT experience.

Preferred Skills

• Azure development, Drupal, WordPress, or Agile methodology.
• Healthcare insurance industry domain knowledge or web accessibility and usability expertise.
