Description

You will design and develop Java/J2EE applications, focusing on back-end and middle-tier services for large-scale workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build back-end and middle-tier services to support web applications.
• Participate in technical discussions for proof-of-concept and development with onsite and offshore teams.
• Engage in code reviews and implementation to maintain software quality and delivery schedules.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services using Service Oriented Architecture principles.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and web services development.
• Extensive knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented concepts, and asynchronous messaging.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Apache Camel, Hibernate, Dozer, and Apache CXF.
• Experience with RDBMS platforms including DB2 and Oracle, including data modelling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and NewSQL products such as Cassandra and MemSQL.
• Experience with MQ Messaging framework and WebSphere Application Server.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and container technologies.
• Experience in Agile development and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Troubleshooting experience regarding threads, memory, JVM, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
• Experience supporting Customer-Data Platforms for financial institutions.
