Design, develop, and maintain business applications and automated solutions to resolve complex problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build moderate to complex application program solutions based on evaluated requirements and detailed designs.
• Ensure solution quality through peer code reviews, documentation, unit/integration testing, and defect root cause analysis.
• Consult with clients to identify risks, resolve system requirements, and assist with high-level solution design.
• Research and recommend efficient system specifications, including vendor application integration.
• Support application implementation into production and testing environments in coordination with operations staff.

Required Skills

• Minimum four years of application program development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and JDK 11 or JDK 17.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring 5+, Spring Data, and Spring microservice patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Competency in Unit Testing, QA tools, and DevOps practices.
• Background in Application Development and Project Leadership.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe, DB2, UNIX, Oracle, Websphere, Peoplesoft, Business Objects, and ETL.

Preferred Skills

• Insurance industry background.
• Relevant technical certifications.
