Description

You will build standalone applications and integrate web apps with legacy systems using SOAP and REST services in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Apache Camel routes using Aggregator, Splitter, and WireTap patterns to integrate web applications with legacy systems via XML and JSON.
• Write complex DB2 queries and CRUD scripts for DB2 and iSeries databases using IBM Data Studio.
• Develop test cases using Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code coverage with JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.
• Perform implementation and rollout activities, including application deployment to DEV and TEST environments.
• Create technical documentation, use-case diagrams, and project flow diagrams for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience building SOAP and REST services.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Camel for integration patterns.
• Competency with SVN, Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus.
• Knowledge of WildFly, Hibernate, and embedded Tomcat.
• Ability to work with DB2 and iSeries databases.
• Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and requirement management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SonarQube for continuous code quality.
• Familiarity with Snake YAML and FreeMarker templates.
