You will develop web applications using Java and perform root cause research and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Java coding standards.
• Write complex SQL queries for relational databases.
• Conduct root cause research and technical analysis.
• Implement batch jobs and web services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Java 6.0 and J2EE application components including JSP, Custom Tag libraries, Session EJBs, and JDBC.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using Singleton, Factory, and DAO patterns.
• MVC architecture principles.
• Relational database experience writing SQL in DB2 and Oracle.
• Java IDE proficiency (RAD 7.5 or above).
• JavaScript and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Websphere Application Server 8.0.
• Experience running WAS 8.0 in a SuSe Linux 11 environment.
