Description

You will develop, maintain, and support mission-critical IT systems through Java application development, production support, and DevOps tasks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Java 1.5 to 1.8.
• Deploy and debug applications on Orion, JBoss, and Tomcat servers.
• Perform DevOps duties including configuration changes and application deployment across production and lower environments.
• Troubleshoot application code flow, shell scripts, and Windows/Linux batch jobs.
• Integrate SOAP-based web services into existing codebases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE applications.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap, JSP, and HTML.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle DB, specifically Oracle DBMS 11g R2 and above.
• 5+ years of experience with ANT-based applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows environments, including Apache web server and RHEL 5 or above.
• 5+ years of experience with client-server, OS, application, and VM architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Struts 1 and Hibernate ORM.
• Proficiency with Eclipse, Putty, and Postman.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Oracle client connectivity and tnsnames files.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Builder.
• Experience with Java version migration projects.
• Experience using Tortoise SVN.
