Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to define requirements and design technology solutions for financial applications.
• Develop, prototype, integrate, and test enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Work closely with business partners and technical teams to deliver solutions within tight deadlines.
• Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Support production issues, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc requests for business stakeholders.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop reliable and maintainable code following established development standards.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional IT/software development experience.
• Strong financial services or finance industry background.
• 7–10 years of experience with Java/J2EE, including Servlets, JSP, and JDBC.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Advanced Java, and Spring Framework.
• 7–10 years of experience with relational databases such as Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
• 3–5 years of experience with Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and Eclipse.
• 3–5 years of experience developing and executing JUnit tests using Mockito.
• Strong understanding of software design, development, integration, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
