Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and Kafka, owning the development of event-driven microservices and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs and integrate systems using Kafka, JDBC, File, HTTP, SOAP/XSD, REST, and JSON.
• Implement event-driven architecture using pub/sub patterns and stream processing.
• Design and implement microservices adhering to established patterns.
• Manage and utilize Kafka concepts including clusters, topics, partitions, and replication.
• Apply security concepts like SSL, Basic Authentication, and OAuth in service development.

Required Skills

• 7-13+ years of experience in Java programming.
• Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, JDBC, File, HTTP, SOAP/XSD, REST, and JSON.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL development.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Understanding of design patterns and software development lifecycles (Agile/Waterfall).
