Description

Lead technical development for high-transaction message handling and microservices architecture in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts using advanced Java, Spring, and Scala.
• Design and implement message handling systems using Confluent Kafka 5.5.1.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices capable of managing large transaction volumes.
• Manage complex multi-threading requirements within distributed systems.
• Integrate new features and services with existing engineering squads.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 4 years of experience working in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring.
• Hands-on experience with Scala.
• Deep expertise in Confluent Kafka (version 5.5.1 or similar).
• Strong understanding of Multi-threading and concurrency.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience handling large-scale transaction volumes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry.
